Time management is a big challenge for me, from managing my time on tasks to maintaining a regular sleep schedule.
The experience of not having a sense of time or ‘time blindness’ is very common with ADHD. There are differences in the ADHD brain that affect how we perceive the passage of time.
Putting clocks everywhere and using a timer works for me as visual reminders of the passing of time. I have a clock prominently placed in each room as a strategy to keep track of time.
This digital alarm clock with a large digital display showing the time in massive numbers is ideal for the bedside. The display is backlit with a dim light which automatically gets brighter at night. This function can be switched off!
The display shows the month, day and the set alarm time. It also displays the room temperature which is ace because the room should be slightly cooler for a good night’s rest and you can check that with this alarm clock!
The displayed time can be set to 12 or 24-hour mode.
The alarm has a snooze function with a large snooze button at the top which also lights the display temporarily.
