Time management is a big challenge for me, from managing my time on tasks to maintaining a regular sleep schedule.
Why this happens
The experience of not having a sense of time or ‘time blindness’ is very common with ADHD. There are differences in the ADHD brain that affect how we perceive the passage of time.
The strategy
Putting clocks everywhere and using a timer works for me as visual reminders of the passing of time. I have a clock prominently placed in each room and practice using the Pomodoro technique with the timers below.
